Qualifications

- Strong preference towards possessing HVAC trade expertise.
- Preferred HVAC Maintenance Journey Person
- Experience work with Collective Bargaining Unit
- Universal EPA certification preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Good writing skills required.
- Experience in a higher education or university environment preferred but not required
- Successful candidate must be self-motivated who can work independently or on a team.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or other appropriate technical area, or combination of technical education, training, and experience. Two or more years of experience managing facilities operations and maintenance staff in an environment with a variety of building types (administrative offices, classrooms, laboratories, residential & dining facilities, auditoriums, etc.).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

- Frequently sitting, perform desk-based computer tasks, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
- Occasionally stand/walk, twist/bend/stoop/squat, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, use a telephone, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 11-20 pounds.
- Rarely kneel/crawl, climb (ladders, scaffolds, or other), reach/work above shoulders, grasp forcefully, writing by hand, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh >40 pounds.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or other appropriate technical area, or combination of technical education, training, and experience. WORKING CONDITIONS:
Requires 24-hour response availability seven days per week for emergency situations.

The expected pay range for this position is $108,000 to $157,000 per annum.
