Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, and five years relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Expertise in designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications.
- Proficiency with application design and relational databases.
- Ability to define and solve logical problems for highly technical applications.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical clients.
- Ability to select, adapt, and effectively use a variety of programming methods.
- Knowledge of application domain.
- Understanding of all aspects of software development life cycle and quality control practices.
Relevant Work Experience:
- Proficient in Oracle database development, design and applications performance tuning
- Proficient in developing applications using Oracle Applications Express (APEX)
- 5+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development and SQL programming experience preferred
- Familiarity with JQuery/Javascript, CSS, HTML5 is a plus
- Ability to work with and coordinate with other developers using tools such as Jira, SLACK, Confluence, ServiceNow and API Gateway Platforms
- Passion for working with end users to understand their needs and improve their end-user experience
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Knowledge of principles and techniques used in conducting management studies and in systems analysis.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently sit, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
- Occasionally stand/walk, use a telephone.
- Rarely writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.

- May work extended hours, evening and weekends.

The expected pay range for this position is $101,000 – $140,000 per annum.
