Position Title: IT Software Developer

Position Description: Propose, conceptualize, design, implement, and develop solutions for difficult and complex applications independently. Contribute to all phases of a project, including systems analysis, program design, development, and implementation. Work with a variety of users to gain information, and develop intra-system tradeoffs between different users, as necessary; interact with a diverse client base and outside vendor contacts. Document system builds and application configurations; maintain and update documentation as needed. Provide technical analysis, design, development, conversion, and implementation work. Work as a project lead, as needed, for projects of moderate complexity. Serve as a technical resource for applications. Compare, evaluate, and implement new features and technologies, and integrate them into the computing environment. Follow team software development methodology. This includes but not limited to Change Control, Code Review and Change Management. Create programs to meet reporting and analysis needs. Perform support, maintenance, operation, and upgrades of applications. Partner with business management to define the appropriate technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems. Provide innovative programming and analysis.

Hybrid work- required to work onsite two days a week and telecommute within area of intended employment at employer’s discretion.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, MIS or related field and seven years of experience as an IT Software Developer or related occupation in IT Software Development or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, MIS or related field and five years of experience as an IT Software Developer or related occupation in IT Software Development.

Must possess seven years’ experience with a Bachelor’s or five years’ experience with a Master’s in each of the following:

● Designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications.

● Relational databases and Applications performance tuning.

● Developing applications using Oracle Applications Express (APEX).

● Structured programming related to Oracle SQL like Oracle PL/SQL.

● Developing enterprise applications in Oracle based technology, Oracle. Application Framework, Oracle Workflow and Business Intelligence Publisher.

Also requires knowledge in Oracle Applications (like Procure to Pay, Financials).

The expected pay for this position is $160,221 to $165,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.

Location of Position: 505 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063. Hybrid work- required to work onsite two days a week and telecommute within area of intended employment at employer’s discretion.
