To be successful in this position, you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree required; JD or other relevant experience strongly preferred and favorably considered.
Excellent analytical and organization skills and attention to detail.
Superior interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work well with a wide variety of people, including faculty, industry representatives and legal counsel, as well as administrative staff and coworkers.
Ability to work for consensus with disparate groups. Excellent judgment, creativity and common sense.
Must show initiative, diplomacy, anticipate needs, and be a consummate team player. Must be organized and capable of setting priorities while handling multiple tasks in a busy environment.
Demonstrate ability to engage in problem solving and look for opportunities to share knowledge and information.
Generally, at least five years of contract work, university administration or related experience, with experience working to build consensus among disparate groups.
Sophisticated negotiation and drafting skills (and mastery of preparing and reviewing redlines).
