The candidate will be a member of the Communication Technologies team within the University IT (UIT), IT Infrastructure (ITI) organization. ITI provides Unified Communications, Call Center, and Web Conferencing services to include ZOOM and Cisco WEBEX to Stanford University, Stanford Health Care, and Stanford Medicine Children’s Health environments.

As a TIER 2/3 level position, the candidate must demonstrate their ability to work with minimal guidance at the ADMIN LEVEL systems access to administer the DESIGN, CONFIGURATION, DEPLOYMENT, OPTIMIZATION, TROUBLESHOOTING, and MAINTENANCE of a highly complex ZOOM and Cisco WEBEX web conferencing environment.

 

CORE TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Provide TIER 2/3 level support for ZOOM and Cisco WEBEX services.
  • Demonstrate admin level access and familiarization with ZOOM Admin Portal and WEBEX Control Hub administration.
  • Demonstrate familiarization and experience with access roles and privileges administration for both ZOOM Admin Portal and WEBEX Control Hub access.
  • Demonstrate familiarization and experience with the administration of USER and ROOM license management via both ZOOM Admin Portal and WEBEX Control Hub.
  • Advanced familiarity with ZOOM and WEBEX features, settings, user experience and general troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrate advanced familiarization and experience with the configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of ZOOM and WEBEX desktop and mobile apps.
  • Demonstrate familiarization and experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) Device configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting, particularly for Cisco WEBEX codec device types.
  • Demonstrate familiarization and experience with Cisco Expressway Series configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with UC/Telephony dial plan/search rules configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrate familiarization and troubleshooting experience with interpreting SIP protocol/ladder events and logs.

GENERAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technically astute with the fundamentals and principles of Telephony, Unified Communications, and Web Conferencing technologies
  • Technical understanding of L2/L3 TCP/IP Networking/Protocols and Firewall security
  • Proficient with technical documentation/diagram tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, etc.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Familiarization with ITIL practices Change Management, Incident Processes, etc.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • This position has a HYBRID requirement where the candidate will have an agreed upon HYBRID agreement that will require a combination of ONSITE and WORK AT HOME workdays on a weekly basis.

 

PAY RANGE: 

The expected pay range for this position is $135,000 - $145,000 per annum.
