MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with multiple types of operating systems (Linux and windows)
- Experience with managing an integrated computing environment.
- Experience with one or more programming languages (Ruby, Python, Perl, Javascript)
- Extensive experience in multiple programming languages for system development.
- Demonstrated knowledge of security protocols.
- Ability to manage shared resources and perform moderately complex tasks.
- Ability to work well independently and as a team member.
- Ability to train to others in applications and operating system fundamentals.
- Experience with middleware and infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability)
- Experience with SaaS and PaaS platforms (ServiceNow, SalesForce, etc.)
- Experience in the design, development, and deployment of large heterogeneous distributed systems and environments
- Functional understanding of TCP/IP Networking, DNS, firewalls and load balancers.
- Past DevOps experience is desired but not required.
- Past experiences in infrastructure tool development and maintenance is very helpful.
- Solid understanding of distributed web application architecture is helpful
- Knowledge of high availability systems is desirable.
- Experience with Containerization (Docker Technologies, Kubernetes, etc.) desirable, but not required.
- Experience with CI / code deployment platform such as Atlassian Bamboo.
- Experience with version control systems (SVN, Git, etc.)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
- Frequently sitting.
- Occasionally stand/walk, twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulders, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
- Rarely kneel/crawl, climb (ladders, scaffolds, or other, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 21>40 pounds.
