To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A bachelor's degree and three years relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and workflow.
- Experience with enterprise applications and understanding of database driven applications.
- Skill in conducting interviews.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to bridge functional and technical resources by communicating effectively with individuals of varying systems expertise and business needs.
- Listening, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to maintain good customer relations with clients and external vendors and partners.
In addition, preferred requirements include:
- Experience using PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and running and editing PeopleSoft queries.
- Experience managing student financial activities and complying with related federal regulations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with accounting systems, ability to apply accounting skills and concepts, including financial data analysis.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Demonstrated project management skills and ability to contribute as part of a project team.
This role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate. The expected pay range for this position is $70,000 to $98,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
Working Conditions:
- Able to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
- This position is preferred to be 100% on-site OR a hybrid position, requiring 2-4 days on-site. However, we will consider requests to work 100% remote, with approval from the Vice Provost of Student Affairs.
