MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in social work or psychology or related field and two years post-degree experience (completed before licensure)
Licensure: California Licensure in one or more of the following fields: - Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Clinical expertise in evaluation, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
- Proven ability to provide culturally responsive care to diverse communities and to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary colleagues.
- Knowledge of ethical standards, relevant state and HIPAA laws regulating the privacy and confidentiality of health information, and mandated reporting statutes.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency with timely completion of clinical documentation and administrative tasks
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong preference will be given to candidates with:
- 3 or more years of post-licensure work history and previous experience working in university counseling centers
- Work or lived experience relevant to serving one or more of the following student communities:
- Indigenous/Native American
- Middle Eastern/North African
Working Conditions: Job may entail after-hours availability on evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays in response to the needs of the Stanford student body.
Final candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
The expected pay range for this position is $95,365 - $125,000 annually.
