DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in architecture or related field required.
- Experience in developing research facilities preferred.
- Experience with institutional/biotech/pharma projects preferred.
- Skilled in use of project management and design software applications and tools.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years of related experience in management of projects with extensive size/complexity and moderate performance risk, including project planning, scheduling, tracking, and budgeting.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences.
- Ability to productively assemble, engage, and lead cross-functional teams.

- License in architecture or related field.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Frequently stand/walk, sit, perform desk-based computer tasks and lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
- Occasionally use a telephone, write by hand, twist/bend/stoop/squat, grasp lightly/fine manipulation and lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 20 pounds.
- Rarely kneel, crawl, climb ladders, reach/work above shoulder, grasp forcefully, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds or more.
- Ability to maintain a valid non-commercial California Driver's license.
- Auditory acuity with ability to hear horns and bells.
- Visual acuity with ability to determine colors for finishes.
- Ability to climb scaffolding, ladders, stairs etc.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- May work in active laboratories or outdoor environments.
- May be exposed to extreme hot and cold temperatures, be exposed to high voltage electricity, radiation or electromagnetic fields, lasers, noise > 80dB TWA, allergens/biohazards/chemicals /asbestos, or heavy metals or work on roofs at heights greater than 10 ft.
- May drive vehicle day and night.
- Must wear personal protective equipment as defined/required by job assignments, and dress for clean rooms.
- May work extended hours, evenings and weekends.

The expected pay range for this position is $134,000 to $181,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
