MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and five years relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of, computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flow. 
  • Experience with enterprise applications and understanding of database driven applications.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Knowledge of principles and techniques used in conducting management studies and in systems analysis.
  • Current knowledge of rapidly changing computer technology.
  • Skill in conducting interviews and facilitating group meetings.
  • Skill in developing and conducting training programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to bridge functional and technical resources by communicating effectively with individuals of varying systems expertise and business needs.
  • Strong listening, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to design and document complex business systems.
  • Proven problem solving and analytical thinking and ability to approach problems logically and systematically.

 

Preferred/Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Operations experience, especially in designing, redesigning, and implementing business processes.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills are essential, with a focus on developing processes that enhance employee experience by meeting their needs, understanding their preferences, and solving their problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively complete projects through task prioritization, decision-making, self-motivation, proactivity, and both creative and critical thinking.
  • Proven experience in leading large, cross-functional projects, showcasing strong leadership skills in managing complex projects that involve multiple systems and processes.
  • Strong proficiency in visually communicating complex information and solutions, using diagramming tools and whiteboarding in client-facing scenarios, as well as in defining data metrics and creating data visualizations.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and understand their integration with business processes, information architecture, and database design. Skilled in evaluating and selecting technology to fulfill business requirements and objectives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in web application design, proficient in creating specifications, mockups, and UI/UX designs using a variety of tools.
  • Experience in implementing and configuring CRM systems, including marketing automation platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in data analysis, management, and transformation with a strong understanding of migration, migration, REST APIs, and ETL processes.

 

Certifications and Licenses:

  • None

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

  • Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
  • Frequently sit, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
  • Occasionally stand/walk, use a telephone.
  • Rarely writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.

The expected pay range for this position is $94,000 to $133,000 per annum.


Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
