DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in public health or related field.
- Previous experience working on health services research projects.
- Interest in working in a position for at least two (2) years.
- Strong project management skills, including managing data collection from different participant types and timepoints.
- Understanding of basic statistics and familiarity with SPSS/STATA (quantitative) .
- Strong qualitative methods expertise and familiarity with Dedoose/NVivo/Atlas.ti (qualitative), or similar qualitative data organization software.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to drive to different local on- and off-site locations for study recruitment and data collection.
- Ability to work independently with deadlines with general guidance.
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to complete detailed work accurately.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with human study participants.
- Ability to understand scientific literature, experimental/quasi-experimental procedures and their limitations, and current needs of the research community.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor of Arts degree in an applicable social science related field and two years applicable experience, or combination of education and experience in an applicable social science.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

The expected pay range for this position is $85,376 to $99,581 per annum.
The actual pay will be pro-rated based on the 78.5% FTE. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage the university reasonably expects to pay for a position upon hire. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
