MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
- Two-year college degree and two or more years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide excellent client service.
- Ability to apply diagnostic techniques for problem troubleshooting.
- Ability to apply information technology best practices, including security (this includes information security or physical security, such as asset management) to problem resolution and troubleshooting.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Mac and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with networked environments.
- Familiarity with Service Now or another similar ticketing system.
- Experience working in higher education.
- Experience working with higher education students.
- Experience training or mentoring students.

Physical Requirements*
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently sitting, using a telephone, grasping lightly/fine manipulation
- Occasionally lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 21-40 pounds.
- Rarely bending, lifting, standing, and carrying equipment.
- Rarely kneel/crawl, climb (ladders, scaffolds, or other), writing by hand, sort/file paperwork or parts, grasp forcefully.

Working Conditions
- May require extended hours, weekends, and participation in an on-call rotation. This position may be regularly scheduled to work Sunday afternoons and evenings, and afternoons and evenings Monday through Thursday.
- The university requires all staff to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination prior to their start date unless granted a medical or religious accommodation.
- This is a designated on-campus role working on the historic Stanford campus in the Lathrop Learning Hub. Occasional remote work may be possible depending on business needs.

The expected pay range for this position is $85,000 to $100,00 per annum/hour.
