Requirements: Masters’s degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Learning Sciences, or a related field and two years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related occupation in instructional design, or a Bachelor’s degree in these fields with seven years of experience.
Must possess two years’ experience with a master’s or seven years’ experience with a bachelor’s in each of the following:
- Designing, developing, and implementing instructional materials and training programs across various learning modalities.
- Providing pedagogical consultation to faculty and subject matter experts to enhance course design and instructional effectiveness.
- Developing and applying instructional strategies based on learning science and best practices in adult education.
- Coordinating learning management systems (LMS) and integrating educational technologies to support course delivery.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including faculty, instructional designers, and technology specialists, to develop engaging and accessible learning experiences.
- Assessing and improving instructional design solutions using data analytics, user feedback, and iterative design processes.
The expected pay for this position is $91,000-$140,994 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage the university reasonably expects to pay for a position upon hire. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
