To be successful in this position, you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree and ten years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Ability to develop long-term relationships with donors and prospects. Previous experience in a campaign is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and collaborate across work groups, departments and functions.
- Proven skills in managing a number of competing priorities and complex issues creatively and effectively. This may include long-range strategic fundraising, donor development, and volunteer engagement with the day-to¬-day operations.
- Proven ability to make independent decisions and accurately forecast and deliver results.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and engage through highly effective presentations and communication. A clear and confident communication style which shows spirit, enthusiasm, and integrity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to collaborate, build team spirit, and achieve results within diverse populations.
- Ability to meet deadlines and function effectively in a complex organizational environment demanding a high energy level, discretion, and flexibility.
- Demonstrated abilities to be adaptable and thrive in an environment of ambiguity. Work will and successfully in a constantly evolving setting.
- Strong skills with information systems, prospect tracking and/or other systems used to manage external relations functions.
- Valid California Non-commercial Class Driver's License.
Physical Requirements*:
- Frequently perform desk-based computer tasks, sit, and use a telephone, stand/walk.
- Occasionally light/fine grasping, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds, writing by hand.

Working Conditions:
- May require working flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Regular travel may be required.
