To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience. Experience in a quantitative discipline such as economics, finance, statistics or engineering.
- Ability to design, create, refine meaningful research questions, datasets, analyses, and reports.
- Strong ability to evaluate data quality, and to identify appropriate methods for working with imperfect data sources.
- Ability to work with data of varying levels of quality and validity.
- In-depth knowledge and experience using and applying analytical software, database management system software, database reporting software, database user interface and query software, and data mining software.
- Expert ability to collect, clean, manage, analyze, visualize data using a variety of methods.
- Basic statistical ability.
- Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities in a deadline-oriented environment; highly organized, flexible and rigorous attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external customers.
- Ability to take a leadership role on projects and with users/clients.
In addition, our preferred requirements include:
- Experience with reporting, analytical, and visualization tools such as Tableau, SAS, OBIEE, SQL, R, Python, or similar.
- Experience in a social science discipline, e.g., sociology, anthropology, linguistics, psychology, especially when this includes a quantitative component.
- Experience in integrating data sources and systems
- Experience working in higher education, including familiarity with data, systems, business processes, space planning, or in a relevant functional area.
- Familiarity with institutional research, assessment, program evaluation, or business intelligence.
- Experience serving in a leadership role on projects and with users/clients.
- Conversant with space planning, teaching.
Physical Requirements:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently sit, sort, file paperwork or parts, grasp lightly, and use fine manipulation, lift, carry, push and pull objects that weigh 10 pounds or less.
- Occasionally write by hand, twist, bend, stoop and squat.
- Rarely stand, walk, reach or work above shoulders and use a telephone.
Working Conditions:
- May work extended hours during peak business cycles.

- This position is designated as fully onsite or hybrid, working onsite a minimum of 2 days per week.
