Senior Associate Director, University Principal Gifts

To be successful in this position, you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree and eight years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
• A demonstrated commitment to promoting and supporting an environment of diversity and inclusion.
• Creative problem-solving with strong critical thinking and analytical skills and fluency in nuance.
• Experience or deep interest in engaging with Bay Area-based communities with international networks.
• Ability to develop long-term relationships with principal level donors and prospects, as well as a proven track record of success in personally cultivating, soliciting and stewarding eight-figure gifts.
• Experience engaging and motivating groups of diverse individuals, from complex academic environments to volunteer networks.
• A work ethos of precision, agility, discretion, accountability, and optimism, as well as experience managing competing priorities and complex issues to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to distill complex information into compelling presentations and opportunities. 

The expected pay range for this position is $182,000 – $226,000 per annum.
