MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and seven years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience. Work experience in a quantitative or behavioral science discipline such as data science, economics, industrial/organizational psychology, finance, statistics or engineering.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Extensive experience in data analysis and root cause analysis and proven problem solving and analytical thinking capabilities, in one or more People Analytics topics areas, e.g., DEIB, employee relations, learning and development, organization development, talent acquisition, total rewards, and wellness.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; proven presentation experience and comfort with senior management audiences; and effective facilitation skills with diverse groups.
  • Extensive background and experience with report and analysis design.
  • Experience with statistical and predictive modeling techniques and their application in People Analytics.
  • In-depth experience with one or more analytical and business intelligence programs such as Oracle HCM, Tableau, SQL, Power BI, R, Python, Alteryx, Incorta, etc., and with Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated ability with enterprise applications and database driven applications.
  • Substantial experience with relational and dimensional logical data modeling.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to understand and apply the data and analytics product development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to review business processes and translate into process improvements and solutions.
  •  Ability to prioritize workload and work with minimal supervision.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

  • Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
  • Frequently sitting.
  • Occasionally stand/walk.
  • Rarely writing by hand; lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.

This role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate.

The expected pay range for this position is $105,000 to $173,000 per annum.

Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
