DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in computational and engineering sciences (e.g., computer science, computational biology, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering) or other related fields.
- Experience with signal processing of medical imaging data.
- Experience with or demonstrated interest in neuroimaging techniques.
- Experience with Neuroimaging (FSL, SPM, AFNI, or equivalent) software.
- Experience using high-performance computer clusters and bash/shell scripting.
- Experience in data science, statistics, optimization, machine learning, and/or deep learning.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.)
- Experience with Statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS, or equivalent), and other common programming languages in neuroimaging (python, MATLAB). Prior experience with R is highly recommended for data analysis.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and relevant experience. Experience in a quantitative discipline such as economics, finance, statistics or engineering.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
- Substantial experience with MS Office and analytical programs
- Strong writing and analytical skills in machine learning.
- Ability to prioritize workload.

- Sitting in place at computer for long periods of time with extensive keyboarding/dexterity.
- Occasionally use a telephone.
- Rarely writing by hand.

The expected pay range for this position is $82,468 to $106,256 per annum (within 10 Bay Area counties) or $54,763 to $83636 per annum (all other regions). Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
