POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Executive Director of the Stanford Accelerator for Learning, the Project Manager will help design, implement, and coordinate multiple programmatic efforts that advance the Education Entrepreneurship Hub’s mission. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities while engaging a diverse group of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a collaborative mindset strong attention to detail, and a genuine interest in supporting education entrepreneurs and translating research into real-world impact.
CORE DUTIES:
Project Planning & Execution
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource estimates to guide the successful delivery of programs within scope, schedule, and budget.
Plan, coordinate, and implement multiple concurrent projects, including workshops, project showcases, mentorship activities, innovation sprints, and seed funding rounds.
Monitor project progress, track milestones and deliverables, and assist with preparing reports on outcomes, impact metrics, and program performance.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a primary point of contact for Stanford students, faculty, and partners involved in the Education Entrepreneurship Hub activities.
Facilitate meetings, communications, and information-sharing among cross-functional teams to support collaboration and timely project delivery.
Support faculty and student innovators in navigating the Education Entrepreneurship Hub programs and accessing available resources.
Operations & Logistics
Coordinate logistics for events, workshops, and convenings, including scheduling, communications, participant engagement, vendor coordination, and follow-up activities.
Maintain internal systems for program operations and documentation, including project budgets, applications, contact lists, and resource tracking.
Monitor and identify project risks or emerging issues and escalate to leadership when appropriate; collaborate with leadership to develop solutions and maintain momentum.
Communication & Outreach
Draft and distribute program communications, including newsletters, web updates, and event promotions.
Assist with external and internal reporting, including preparation of materials for funders, partners, and Stanford Accelerator for Learning leadership.
Support efforts to capture and share success stories, lessons learned, and innovation outcomes from the Education Entrepreneurship Hub activities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (i.e. education, social sciences, business, etc.) and three years of related experience in management of projects of moderate size/complexity with limited performance risk, including project planning, scheduling, tracking, and budgeting, or a combination of education and experience.

Polished written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences.

Demonstrated project management ability to employ integration, scope time management, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement components.
Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem-solving skills in a variety of situations.
Additionally, preferred qualifications include:
Experience in education entrepreneurship, edtech, or innovation ecosystems.
Collaborative and flexible approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
Familiarity with Stanford or higher education environments.
Comfort with tools such as Airtable, Asana, Slack, and Google Workspace.
Passion for equity in education and commitment to inclusive innovation.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently sit, perform desk-based computer tasks, and grasp lightly/fine manipulation and lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
Occasionally stand/walk, write by hand.
Rarely use a telephone, kneel, crawl, climb ladders, twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulder, grasp forcefully.
Working Conditions:
May require some travel in domestic U.S., local area, and cross-university.
Occasional evening and weekend hours.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check prior to working at Stanford University.

The expected pay range for this position is $125,600 - $147,402 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
