DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Prior experience in research project management
  • Prior experience in supervising personnel
  • Prior experience with managing projects that involve academic, community, and other stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications in a previous administrative setting
  • Fluent in English and Spanish

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):

Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):

·         Polished written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences.

·         Ability to productively contribute to cross-functional teams.

·         Depth of knowledge in technical discipline/domain needed to deliver projects.

·         Demonstrated project management ability to employ integration, scope time management, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement components.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

·         Frequently sit, perform desk based computer tasks, grasp lightly/fine manipulation and lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.

·         Occasionally stand/walk, write by hand, twist/bend/stoop/squat and lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 20 pounds.

·         Rarely use a telephone, kneel, crawl, climb ladders, reach/work above shoulder, grasp forcefully.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

·         May be exposed to extreme hot and cold temperatures, be exposed to high voltage electricity, radiation or electromagnetic fields, lasers, noise > 80dB TWA, allergens/biohazards/chemicals /asbestos, or heavy metals or work on roofs at heights greater than 10 ft.

·         Travel locally and cross-university.

Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the University reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs. The pay range for this position working in the California Bay area is $92,000.00-$110,000.00 annual.
