DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Five years of experience 1) working on programs for physicians or scientists and/or 2) overseeing administrative programs at an academic medical center.
  • Successful track record of:
    • launching innovative programs or enhancing existing programs
    • developing systems and infrastructure to support programs or projects
    • managing program budgets and meeting budget goals
    • collecting and analyzing data and creating reports to inform team of program results
    • reviewing trends and formulating and evaluating opportunities for improvement to achieve or exceed goals of program
  • Experience in physician and scientist well-being or interest in developing expertise.
  • Understanding of program evaluation, including outcomes measurement methodology, translating data into actionable insights, and proposing next steps based on evaluation data. 
  • Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset; comfort with change, ambiguity, and iterative experimentation in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high degree of social facility in partnering with and supporting a broad range of faculty and staff at all levels both within and outside the institution.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and re-establish priorities as necessary.
  • A demonstrated ability to be a self-starter with the ability to excel in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Must be a team player and willing to take on additional challenges if needed.
  • Exceptional judgment and discretion in interacting with constituencies (internal and external) on sensitive and confidential issues.
  • Experience working with hybrid teams.
  • Experience with the following software/technology platforms: Zoom videoconferencing, Smartsheet, Slack.
  • Experience in project management software.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):

Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):

  • Program management experience involving physicians, scientists, or healthcare organizations.
  • Demonstrated excellent planning and organizational skills, including prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines, while managing concurrent projects and commitments. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a teamwork environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of projects.
  • Demonstrated creativity, problem solving, and critical analysis skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to a variety of key stakeholders, through multiple channels.
  • Keen attention to details; commitment to the accuracy and integrity of all data, reports and communications.
  • Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment in making decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to accomplish goals working through formal and informal channels, with diplomacy and tact.
  • Ability to direct the work of others, for jobs requiring supervision.
  • Adept at engaging physicians and senior leaders.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Computer knowledge and proficiency (Mac/PC).


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

  • Frequently stand/walk, sitting, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, perform desk-based computer tasks.
  • Occasionally use a telephone, writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds.
  • Rarely sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh >40 pounds.
  • Ability to use voice to present information/communicate with others.
  • On-campus mobility.

The expected pay range for this position is $99,015.00 - $126,383.00 per annum.
