To be successful in this position, you will need:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma and six years of administrative experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.
- Proven success in following through and completing projects.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and assign work to others.
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects.
- Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment in making decisions.
In addition, our preferred requirements include:
- Experience and proven skills in planning and implementation of in-person and virtual events, including proficiency orchestrating Zoom events.
- Exceptional ability to clearly communicate with diverse audiences including students, faculty, and corporate professionals.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms), and Adobe Acrobat.
- Familiarity with graphic layout tools such as Canva and Google Slides for the creation of event invitations and presentations. Experience with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
- Ability to organize and manage media assets, including the possible editing of videos, photography, and graphics.
- Experience creating and administering surveys in Qualtrics and Google Forms.
- Basic understanding of financial transactions.
