The Stanford Center for Global and Online Education (CGOE) delivers Stanford University courses and programs online, on campus, and at the work site. CGOE is seeking a Marketing Manager (MM) to ensure the timely and efficient creation, posting, and delivery of marketing messages, campaign reporting, database management, and reporting. The MM will report to the Director of Digital Marketing and will participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of the CGOE integrated marketing/communications plan, including: paid advertising, email communications, and CGOE main web site updates, ensuring that all meet CGOE goals for enrollment, lead generation, and customer engagement.
The MM will work with the CGOE communications and marketing team, program managers, customer service, distribution, and current, past, and potential students on a regular basis and with program teams as needed.
In this role, you will:
Manage marketing plans/programs to meet business objectives, including collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendor partners.
Implement integrated marketing communications and brand strategy, across a variety of channels (i.e., digital and print).
Oversee design and production of marketing materials from inception to deployment.
Conduct market research, including competitive benchmarking, and analyze campaign/program/service/event effectiveness used to inform decisions regarding strategic marketing direction, product segmentation and customer targeting.
Assess market opportunities and track market trends. Recommend marketing improvements based on findings.
Manage vendors/consultants on specific projects.
Manage project/program budget(s) and coordinate invoice processing.
Education & Experience (Required):
Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (Required):
Previous experience in product, program and/or services marketing.
Ability to drive cross-functional groups toward a common goal.
Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Understands how to implement integrated marketing programs across channels including digital and print.
Experience with market research and data analysis.
Demonstrated problem solver.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.

Experience with Trello or other project management software.
Experience with email campaign management software, online advertising, online survey software, and marketing automation tools desired (preferable Marketo).
Experience with website analytics, measurement, and online customer behavior measurement tools a plus.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must be able to use functions within Excel, manipulate data, work with pivot tables, and generate graphs and tables.

Pay Range: This role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate.
The expected pay range for this position is $92,561 to $120,420 per annum for remote positions. The expected pay range for this position is $113,895 to $137,766 per annum for positions in Stanford Work Locations.
