REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in appropriate technical area, or combination of technical education, training, and experience. Must have at least five (5) years’ experience with the maintenance of utility or industrial mechanical systems.
- Able to apply basic engineering principles and theory.
- Prioritizes, plans, and recommends solutions for routine work.
- Effectively communicates both written and orally.
- Approaches and plans work in an organized manner to meet project commitments.
- Demonstrates good judgment when making decisions and recommendations. Ability and willingness to work overtime to support energy system needs which are vital to 24/7 system operations. Occasional off-hours support is to be expected.
DESIRED:
- 5 years supervisory experience
- Experience with writing operations procedures.
- Superior CMMS, Work Process, and Procedural knowledge.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

- Frequently sitting, perform desk-based computer tasks, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
- Occasionally stand/walk, twist/bend/stoop/squat, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, use a telephone, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 11-20 pounds.
- Rarely kneel/crawl, climb (ladders, scaffolds, or other), reach/work above shoulders, grasp forcefully, writing by hand, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh >40 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Requires 24-hour response availability seven days per week for emergency situations.
- May be exposed to noise > 80dB TWA.
- May work at heights 4 - 90 ft.
- Will sometime require entry into confined spaces, steam vaults and tunnels that may be below grade and have surfaces >110*F
