Minimum Education and Experience Required
Two years of actual work experience in the trade. This may include time spent as an apprentice or in vocational training or a combination of equivalent education and relevant experience.
Qualifications:
Ability and knowledge necessary to safely, efficiently perform maintenance duties of moderate complexity in at least one trade area. This level of skill would generally be associated with two years of actual work experience in the trade. This may include time spent as an apprentice or in vocational training. A valid California driver's (Class C) license is required.
Working Conditions:
May be required to work overtime, evenings and weekends, including Holidays, sometimes in inclement weather conditions. Required to wear appropriate uniform. May be required to wear PPE. May be exposed to radiation or electromagnetic fields, lasers, noise >80db, allergens, biohazards, chemicals, asbestos. May work in confined spaces, at heights from 4 to over 10 feet and be exposed to hot and cold temperature extremes.
The expected pay for this position is $35.64 (Step 1) to $43.10 (Step 10) per hour. Placement in the pay range is subject to the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
