Job Purpose

Under direct supervision, verify correct functionality of software by testing(manual and automation) and analyzing systems (applications and/or services). Perform Project Management related tasks. This role is for one year fixed term


Core Duties


  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle process, based on approved methods, to catch defects as early as possible; become a domain expert on the system under test.
  • Gather test requirements, and perform analysis of existing systems and new requirements to ensure proper testing coverage.
  • Review and maintain test cases; implement test strategy, test case design, test coverage, and traceability on assigned projects based on approved protocol.
  • Build and execute manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, and/or performance testing; may include both back-end and front-end testing of the entire system, subsystems, and interfaces to other systems as needed.
  • Work proactively with analysts and development team in problem analysis and defect resolution.
  • Work with supervisors as needed to ensure integration testing is comprehensive and complete.
  • Attention to details. Report defects, defect status, and testing status accurately and concisely using JIRA.
  • Keep current of industry standards, evolving technologies and methodologies, and tools for quality assurance and testing.



  • Support Project Management team to create and maintain project related documentation.
  • Compile data and generate ad hoc reports and metrics related to any project phase.
  • Support and follow-up on project-specific requirements and coordinate project closeout details.
  • Maintain and update Project plans to track progress.
  • Maintain and update team knowledge base.
  • Contribute to team communication plan and change management tasks.

  • Attention to details with analytical skills.
  •  Knowledge of SDLC, QA, test case development and execution.
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Google docs and Microsoft office.
  • Automation tools and scripting.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks among multiple projects while being flexible is critical.
  • Ability to work under deadlines with general guidance.
