Qualifications for this position include a related B.A. or B.S. technical degree and a minimum of two years of experience or a combination of education and experience.
Required and Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must possess effective communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to interact effectively at all levels, with a variety of groups, including end users, developers and project managers.
- Must have experience working with IT projects in a technology environment.
- Possess general knowledge of IT systems and their functions.
- An independent, self-starter and must demonstrate the ability to take initiative.
- Ability to successfully juggle and prioritize among multiple projects and tasks while being flexible is critical.
- Proficiency with project management software tools is desired.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies strongly desired.
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to complete detailed work accurately.
- Ability to work under deadlines with general guidance.
- Ability or interest in learning software for website maintenance (Drupal), etc.
- Knowledge of project management tools and software development lifecycle (SDLC) desired.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and testing practices desired.
