Required Qualifications
1. Software Engineering Experience and Mindset with Strong Python Skills: Strong Python experience (3+ years) and skills for building APIs, automations, and/or service integrations.
2. Service & Infrastructure Operations Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in IT service operations, infrastructure maintenance, and automation, such as infrastructure as code experience. Experience as a software engineer, DevOps engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer.
3. A Growth Mindset: A great attitude with a growth mindset and the ability to work independently and communicate clearly. Our team members expect and appreciate those who are self-initiated, actively propose and initiate improvements, and can manage projects and tasks to deliver results effectively.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Other Programming Languages & Skills: Proficiency in Bash, Zsh, JavaScript/Node.js, or other modern programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, etc.
• Microservices: Experience with microservices architecture and containerization.
• Containers & Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with major cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Cloud Databases: Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
• Certifications: Cloud or DevOps certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
• Networking & Security: Understanding of networking and security protocols.
The expected pay range for this position is $148,162 - $168,602 per annum.
