MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate Degree or combination of education and relevant experience.
0-2 years of administrative or customer support services experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: · Behavioral competencies: Refer to competencies for HR Support.
· Technical competencies:
o Strong accuracy and attention to detail; strong proficiency with business applications, Microsoft Office suite, Google suite, etc.; demonstrated ability to
maintain confidentiality and effectively handle highly sensitive and personal information with sound judgment, tact, and discretion
In addition, preferred requirements include:
· Experience with HR systems (e.g, Oracle, or Stanford-specific tools, PeopleSoft, ePOM).
· Knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
· Familiarity with employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
· Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
· Experience supporting faculty, staff, or student employees in an academic environment.
· Background in process improvement, workflow optimization, or HR reporting is a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
● Travel on campus to schools/units, out of town.
The expected pay range for this position is $28.65 - $36.40 per hour.
