To be successful in this role you must bring:
- Bachelor's degree in landscape horticulture, landscape architecture, planning, or other appropriate specialty and three years of directly related experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate strong and collaborative relationships inside and outside the organization.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS/GPS systems, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Word, and other applications as applicable.
- Ability to follow direction and complete tasks with limited supervision.
- Basic botany, planting, irrigation, pruning, landscape maintenance and most concepts of integrated pesticide management (IPM)
Certifications and Licenses:
- Arborist, CLT, PCA and/or QAC certification preferred

Physical Requirements*:
- Frequently sitting, perform desk-based computer tasks, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
- Occasionally stand/walk, writing by hand, use a telephone.
- Rarely kneel/crawl, climb (ladders, scaffolds, or other), grasp forcefully; twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulders, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 21-40 pounds.
- Visual acuity to match colors.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a California Non-commercial Class Driver's license.

Working Conditions
- Work outdoors: work at heights ≥ ten feet: may do field work, including wading in water, creeks; work on uneven work surfaces; carry building material samples.
