MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Relevant experience may include gift processing, administrative support functions, supervising and training employees, customer service experience, and financial analysis and reporting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Advanced ability with Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficiency with database systems, such as Microsoft Access.
- Strong data analysis skills including experience gathering, organizing and analyzing data, and communicating/presenting results and recommendations in a succinct fashion to key stakeholders.
- Ability to work efficiently, juggle tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and achieve goals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a wide range of people.
- Outstanding communication skills and exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external constituents.
Desired/Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Advanced ability with Raiser’s Edge database system in regard to gift processing data entry and extraction of detail and summary information.
- Demonstrated ability with digital filing software.
- Proficiency with generating reports from a donor relations management database.
- Advanced ability using Microsoft Excel for reporting functions.
- Demonstrated ability using Stanford’s gift transmittal (GT) system to record gifts in the Stanford system.
- Experience working with financial instruments and knowledge of financial policies to assist with processing major gifts.
Certifications and Licenses:
- Valid California Non-commercial Class Driver's License.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Frequently perform desk-based computer tasks, sit, and use a telephone, stand/walk.
- Occasionally light/fine grasping, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds, writing by hand.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a California Non-commercial Class license.

- May require working flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
