MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and four years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Advanced analytical skills to review and analyze complex financial information.
- Advanced proficiency in business applications, such as Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial systems; internet and computer literacy.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong communication skills, including ability to prepare materials for and clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences and client groups.
Demonstrated project management skills and ability to contribute to or lead part of a multi-functional team.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in building financial models independently and presenting to senior management.
- Experience in higher education and familiarity with fund accounting principles.
- Deep understanding of the financial statements for a department / organization.
- Knowledge of Oracle/OBI or other business financial systems.
- Curiosity to learn, take initiatives, and solve problems autonomously.
Ability to act as a thought partner, provide recommendations, and identify improvement opportunities.

The expected pay range for this position is $116,995 - $135,302 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
