Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience in the area of Financial Aid, or combination of education and relevant experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Strong communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences, and management.
· Advanced analysis and problem-solving skills.
· Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge and familiarity with PeopleSoft.
· Relevant computer systems/technology experience.
· Advanced customer service skills.
· Understanding of financial transactions.
· Ability to ensure and apply compliance with legal, financial, and university policies and external regulations.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Knowledge of student aid policies and procedures and experience in student aid delivery.
· Experience in need analysis and packaging of financial aid.
· Ability to understand, interpret and apply complex financial aid regulations and need analysis theory, especially as it applies to the Law School’s LRAP program.
· Ability to act with tact, sensitivity and good judgment.
· Excellent organizational, analytical, counseling and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively under pressure.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects.
· Ability to set priorities.
· Possess superb attention to detail skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Prior supervisory experience critical.

The expected pay range for this position is $69,100 to $104,000 per annum.
