MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience
Associates degree and one year of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience in a professional work environment, including student services, is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Financial aid or student services experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven customer service skills. Ability to ensure and apply compliance with legal, financial, and university policies and external regulations.
- Expert at time management and organization skills. Be extremely attentive to detail and execute on those details with timely follow-through. Ability to differentiate between recommendations/suggestions and requirements, and adjust to often-competing priorities.
- Applicable computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, extensive experience in an email-driven environment.
- Knowledge of and familiarity with HR functions and responsibilities, preferred.
- Professional office administration skills.
- Ability to learn compliance with legal, financial, and university policies and external regulations.
