To be successful in this role, you will:
Education and Experiences
Bachelor’s degree in nutritional science, dietetics, or related field and five (5) years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience
Registered Dietitian credential
Proficiency in sports nutrition, including direct oversight of nutritional services for student-athletes/athletes in a collegiate or professional setting
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent time management, organizational, and record-keeping skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and nutrition counseling skills
Ability to assess individual nutrition needs, provide medical nutrition therapy, and implement proper intervention
Willingness and ability to work non-standard work hours or work weeks (will include early morning, nights, weekends, and/or holidays)
Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks
Highly motivated to work as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in nutritional science, exercise science, or health related field
Board Certification in Sports Dietetics (CSSD)
Proficiency in football sports nutrition, including, preferably, two (2) years of direct oversight of nutritional services for football student-athletes/athletes in a collegiate or professional setting
