The Stanford Center for Asian Health Research and Education (CARE) under the Stanford University School of Medicine is dedicated to improving the health of Asians and Asian Americans by increasing knowledge, empowering education, and positively impacting their care. As one of the fastest growing digital healthcare audiences amongst healthcare organizations in the US with over 500K YouTube subscribers, Stanford CARE is hiring a Digital Marketing Lead to oversee Stanford CARE’s digital marketing and communications strategy. This role will design and implement end to end digital health education marketing initiatives and digital media planning and programming in support of and aligned with Stanford CARE's Annual Strategic Plan, setting goals, developing project plans, and evaluating progress to educate Asian and Asian American populations on health issues and enhance precision healthcare for Asians globally.
This role will:
1. Curate and produce end to end digital marketing content including social media and youtube video offerings, as well as the mailing list content, as aligned with Stanford CARE’s digital marketing strategy. 2. Use AI-driven content editing tools to repurpose Stanford CARE's long-form video content into engaging, platform/audience-tailored, brand-compliant, medically-accurate video segments. 3. Design, build, audit and optimize advertising campaigns (including Google Ads) to reach intended audiences and convert them to high-quality engagement with CARE's digital content. 4. Build and manage Stanford CARE's social media presence across major platforms (Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, X, Instagram, TikTok) to drive meaningful engagement with Stanford CARE's message and brand presence. 5. Manage, design, and optimize Stanford CARE's website for discoverability and freshness. 6. Design next-generation CARE digital marketing strategy to significantly increase CARE's high-quality digital reach.
The role will be hybrid, with 2 days in office at our campus location, 3 days remote.
A successful candidate will have a strong background in both digital marketing and media management, as well as program/project development. They should have relevant experience, be digitally savvy, pay keen attention to details and design style, and have excellent collaboration, communication and writing skills. The candidate should be exceptionally organized; results-driven; have strong abilities in developing and navigating relationships across multiple organizations; and, capable of working and learning new skills independently. They have solid business sense, an inquisitive mind, an eye for excellence, and a track record of critically thinking in the workspace.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related field.
Marketing Manager experience in healthcare, higher education, or non-profit sectors.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
Previous experience in product, program and/or services marketing.
Ability to drive cross-functional groups toward a common goal.
Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Understands how to implement integrated marketing programs across channels including digital and print.
Experience with market research and data analysis.
Demonstrated problem solver.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.

The expected pay range for this position is $113,895 to $137,766 per annum.
