The Center for Responsible and Effective AI Technology Enhancement of Treatments for PTSD (CREATE) at Stanford is seeking an enthusiastic full-time research coordinator to help coordinate research projects using large language models to support psychotherapy. The CREATE Center is developing AI tools to improve the deployment and dissemination of cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT) for PTSD and other mental disorders.

This role is ideal for someone seeking experience in research-related project management and administration, and who is a skilled, efficient writer and quick, effective communicator. The ideal candidate is interested in research and plans to pursue a PhD (or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology or a related field (with an emphasis on research, rather than clinical practice).

For highly motivated candidates, this position may offer the opportunity to co-author publications in relevant fields (e.g., psychology, public health, or computer science) – a valuable component of applications to graduate school. Because this role coordinates and collaborates with researchers from different fields and institutions, excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism are especially valued, as is prior experience in industry and project management.
