Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 -10 years of relevant experience in finance/administration and financial management, or combination of education and relevant experience. Higher Education and Business Relationship Management (BRM) Institute certification is a plus.

- Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on collaboration, relationship building, active listening, gaining trust and influencing others.
- Critical thinking skills with the capacity to creatively troubleshoot and problem solve.

- Proficient oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver effective presentations to different audiences
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse set of organizational stakeholders including executive leadership, administration, Stanford’s finance community and cross functional teams.
- Marketing and communication knowledge is a plus
Analytical Skills
- Ability to analyze and share data impacts with key stakeholders
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Business Acumen
- Expertise in business/finance and/or financial systems/applications and databases
- An understanding of Stanford’s business processes and systems
- Demonstrated financial management knowledge
- Ability to work in a decentralized environment to effectively manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Solid understanding of the project management body of knowledge discipline
- Ability to use and learn how to use collaboration tools including Zoom, G-Suite, Slack and Smartsheet, Salesforce, and any other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs.
- Business Relationship Management (BRM) Institute certification and/or Salesforce expertise are a plus
