MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Education and experience
equivalent to a graduate degree in Environmental Planning plus ten years’
experience in an environmental consulting firm, or private or public planning
office. Applicable study or experience in any of the following field may also
be considered: Environmental Studies, Architecture, Landscape Architecture,
Geography, Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, City and Regional
Planning. Fifteen years of
related, progressively responsible experience requiring extensive leadership
and strategic expertise.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of best practices in CEQA and planning
discipline.
- Strong writing skills.
- Politically astute and experienced in complex
entitlements.
- Ability to consider and evaluate detailed technical information
before synthesizing data into clear decision-making documents.
- Maintains positive attitude in leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience as an executive level
facilities manager with responsibility for developing and mentoring
managers and senior professionals.
