To be successful in this role, you will bring:
● Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
● Experience in non-profit development, preferably in an academic environment is nice to have.
● Strong client service orientation and attention to detail.
● Ability to interact with a wide range of people at different levels of an organization, including students, faculty, top university administration, high-level donors, and volunteers.
● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create and edit high-level reports and correspondence efficiently and under tight time deadlines.
● Ability to articulate science progress and impact in a way that is understandable and meaningful to various constituencies.
● Proven ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple priorities and projects, with competing deadlines.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Tact, discretion, and experience handling confidential information.
● Ability to work together with courage, collaboration, communication, and compassion. A healthy respect for others is an essential, shared value.
● Proficient in MS Office Suite and database applications.
Working Conditions
● May require working flexible hours, including nights and weekends
● Travel may be required
