Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant work experience in the admissions field, or combination of education and relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences, client groups, and management.
  • Advanced analysis and problem solving skills.
  • Advanced technical/computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced customer service skills.
  • Relevant computer systems/technology experience.
  • Understanding of financial transactions.
  • Ability to ensure and apply compliance with legal, financial, and university policies and external regulations.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Expertise in admissions and/or student services fields
  • Experience in marketing
  • Experience/familiarity with web design
  • Experience with PeopleSoft and enrollment management technology
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Strong organizational, counseling, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to act with tact, sensitivity and good judgment
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to handle multiple tasks/projects
  • Strong commitment to professional development
