Associate Director, Corporate, Foundation, and Association Relations, MCD

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.  Experience in university/business alliances and strategies, and sponsored research experience or knowledge (strongly preferred).
• Corporate engagement and strategic planning know-how (strongly preferred)
• Sponsored research experience and knowledge (strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated effectiveness in corporate and/or foundation prospect research and identification, relationship building, proposal and budget development, and solicitation.
• Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and corporate and foundation professionals.
• Superior written and oral communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to translate complex concepts into a compelling case for philanthropic support. 
• Proven ability to work within a complex environment with competing university and funder agendas.
• Commitment to a collaborative culture, with the patience, persistence, and flexibility to build consensus and facilitate decision-making across multiple constituencies. A focus on team success rather than personal recognition.
• Growth mindset with experience mentoring and working with volunteers, faculty, and staff.
• Advanced ability with Microsoft Office suite.

The expected pay range for this position is $136,000 to $163,000 per annum.
