To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree. A J.D. or related advanced degree/certification, or combination of education and experience is required. Five years of related professional experience or combination of education and relevant experience. Experience in corporate, transactional and/or related matters.
- Excellent analytical and organization skills and attention to detail.
- Sophisticated negotiation and drafting skills (and mastery of preparing and reviewing redlines).
- Efficient and independent work ethic.
- Superior interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work well on sensitive issues with a wide variety of people and personalities, including faculty, industry representatives and legal counsel, as well as administrative staff and coworkers.
- Ability to work for consensus with disparate groups. Excellent judgment, creativity and common sense.
- Must show initiative and diplomacy, anticipate needs, and be a consummate team player. Must be organized and capable of setting priorities while handling multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Demonstrate ability to engage in problem solving and look for opportunities to share knowledge and information.
The expected pay range for this position is $170,000 to $180,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
