We are searching for an Assistant Athletic Trainer to be assigned to Varsity programs within the DAPER athletic training department. You will provide athletic training services to the Stanford University student-athletes. You will communicate regularly with team physicians, coaches, administrators, parents, and support staff responsible for the health, wellbeing, and performance of our student athletes. This position is based on the Stanford main campus.
To be successful in this role, you will:
A master’s degree in athletic training or related field. Post master’s experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer at the college or university level, or a combination of education and relevant experience. Experience working with high caliber athletes in Olympic sports highly preferred.
Certifications and Licenses required:

- Be currently NATABOC certified
- Possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Hold current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification, or ability to obtain by start date.
- Valid non-commercial class driver’s license
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required:

- Working knowledge of electronic medical record keeping
- Working knowledge of HIPAA requirements.
- Strong clinical skill development
- Working knowledge of emerging evidence-based practices.
- Ability to work long hours with irregular schedules and frequent travel.
- Ability to engage in physically demanding, manual tasks.

The expected pay range for this position is $76,629 - $85,000 per annum per annum.
