MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree and two to three years of relevant work experience or combination of education and relevant experience.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and customer service skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in written business communications in multiple platforms including email and slack.
    • Strong verbal communication skills.
    • Comfort with technology and databases.
    • Must be well organized and detail oriented.
    • Ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities, and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently at different paces on multiple projects.
    • Ability to handle multiple reporting relationships within the department.
    • Demonstrated creativity, problem solving skills, taking initiative, judgment, and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to accomplish goals working through formal and informal channels, with diplomacy and tactfulness.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet expected deadlines and schedules.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and other online documents, such as Google Docs.
    • Knowledge of Postgrads/CARD (internal databases) desirable.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

    • Must be present for key events held on main campus including 4-day Reunion Homecoming in October and various student events throughout the academic year.
    • Constantly perform desk-based tasks.
    • Frequently stand/walk, sit.
    • Occasionally grasp forcefully, use a telephone, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds.
    • * Consistent with its obligations under the law, the University will provide reasonable accommodation to any employee with a disability who requires accommodation to perform the essential functions of the job.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • Occasional work on evenings and weekends during the academic year
    • May work outdoors.
    • This is a hybrid position and not eligible for remote work.


The expected pay range for this position is $69,000 to $91,000 per annum.
