To be successful in this position, you will need:
● Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience. Advanced degree may be required for some programs.
● Ability to develop program partnerships and funding sources.
● Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting fluency in area of specialization.
● Ability to oversee and direct staff.
● Basic knowledge of managing budgets and developing financial plans.
In addition, our preferred requirements include:
● Advanced degree and/or scholarly and professional accomplishments in research-education-practice partnerships in sustainability and environmental justice.
● Experience with community-engaged curriculum design and teaching at the college level.
● Sensitivity to, and experience with, the principles and practice of community engaged learning in a higher education context.
● Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse set of actors within and outside the organization, including academia, nonprofits, private and public sectors.
● Experience with integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices into programs and teaching.
● Demonstrated ability to build and sustain productive working relationships with faculty in a University setting.
● Proactive communicator with exceptional written, visual, and oral communication skills for a diverse set of partners and collaborators.
● Ability to accomplish goals working through formal and informal channels, with diplomacy and tactfulness.
● Demonstrated creativity, problem solving, critical analysis, initiative, judgment and decision-making skills.
● Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
● Flexible, open-minded, and collaborative mindset with ability to navigate an ambiguous environment.

The expected pay range for this position is $76,000 to $139,000 per annum.
